The book picks up where the original CE for Babies left off. And, like the first book, it's way too short with six pages. It explores D-Latches, Shift Registers, Multiplexers, Decoders, and reading and writing from Addressable Memory.

Tremendous Hit!

Our grandson who is two and one half years old loves the Big Babies book. Of course he loves pushing the buttons! He is also very interested in learning how the buttons get to other colors. This is a book that says for Big babies but this is not a book that stops there. Our grandson will be using this book much longer than some other books. It was a tremendous hit!

An excellent gift

I received the original book ("babies") as a gift a couple of years ago and considered it a nice geeky gift for myself. However in the time since it has been found by my son (4 y.o. at the time) who spent quite a while playing to figure out what each combinatorial operator did. Hence I regard the sequel ("big babies") as a great next step for the playful learning of further design concepts and am excited to have it; indeed I also bought a copy for a friend who's a fresh father (and a trained computer engineer).

Best product and customer support I’ve ever seen

This is hands down the most amazing product I’ve ever come across — from the brilliant idea to the flawless execution and great quality. The pricing is more than reasonable, and the customer support is absolutely outstanding. USPS lost two of my packages (definitely not the store’s fault), and Hacky Labs responded even over the weekend. They arranged a replacement shipment right away and had it out Monday morning. I’m beyond impressed with every part of the experience. Highly recommend them!

I need one of these in my life!

My wife has just bought this for our 14 month-old grandson who is fascinated by light switches (as the author mentioned was inspiration for the book!). I have decided I need one in my van to calm me down during the day, I'm 57!! :D
