The book is great! My son is still too young to appreciate it, but I’m positive he soon will :)
I saw this book on Instagram and thought it might be cool for my 1.5-year-old daughter who loves buttons, lights, and switches. The book definitely delivers on that. She likes to go through it over and over, pressing the buttons. I'm not sure she gets the logic, but I'm sure she will eventually. My only complaint is that I'm not a computer engineer, so I can only guess at the logic commands but don't entirely understand the drawings. I was hoping to go to the website to get an explanation of what I'm looking at so I can explain it to my daughter as she gets older. Am I smarter than a 1.5-year-old? No, no, I am not.
CE for babies explains in a few pages the basic building blocks of electronic circuitry in the most graphic way possible, with buttons and LED lights. My 6 year old understood how you could build pretty much anything with these logic gates. It is a short book, but probably because of that the lesson stays with you forever.
Did get it for my grand daughter (9 months). Now it's among the most poplar items for the kid, even after several months.
